Are you new to Tales of Vinewood? Do you need a hand figuring out where to start? Then this guide is for YOU!
Starting out in a new city can be daunting for anyone, which is why we've made this guide to help make your journey just a little bit smoother.
When you first join our city, you will be prompted to register an account, create a character and select a spawn location. Once you've created a character, you will be able to spawn at the "Main Spawn" which is the Hotel. All players will spawn here for their first time launching. You will start with some money on your hand, and in your bank to get you started. There will also be some auto-taxi's nearby to take where you need to go! (Be warned, they have a mind of their own, and no regard for human safety, these haven't been properly safety tested and regulated by the government, so use at your own risk!)
Most people will opt to get a driving license to begin with, as this will upgrade you from a "Provisional" license which limits your car speed up to a full license with no speed restrictions. This can be acquired by passing a 1-question Theory Exam, and a short practical driving exam, and can be taken by talking to Amir at the Driving Centre (See below for location)
Once you've gotten a driving license, it's probably good idea to secure some future income! There are 100's of ways to make money in the city, with many yet to be found and more to be added in the future, but for the mean-time you can choose between Civillian Jobs, Legal Organizations and Criminal Structures to decide your path to riches!
Civillian Jobs include; Trash Collecting, Truck Deliveries, Lumberjack/Woodcutting, Electrical Repairs, Mining & more!
Legal Organizations include; Los Santos Police Department, Mechanics, Emergency Medical Services, Government, San Andreas Sheriffs Department, National Guard, FIB.
Illegal Organiations include; Ballas, Mafia & More to be announced.
Now you've secured an income, why not look for a vehicle to get around the city in style with? Check out any of our car dealerships to purchase a new vehicle, but be warned, some vehicles are limited time only and once they are gone, they are gone, so get it quick!
Alongside many other things you can purchase with your hard earned (or illegally earned) cash is to purchase clothing, businesses, additional vehicles, and properties.
The possibilities are endless, and only limited by your imagination! Now get out there, make a name for yourself in this city, and welcome to Vinewood!
